design. create. make it beautiful.
Born and raised overseas, Greg developed a healthy love for travel, the outdoors and exploring new cultures. His family's travels eventually landed him back in the US where he focussed his creative talents and graduated with a bachelors degree of Industrial Design at North Carolina State University's College of Design.
Combining his passion for outdoor pursuits and design, Greg attended the Outdoor Retailer Market after graduation where he was able to connect and network with the industry's best, providing him an opportunity to consult and design on several products including a line of cut & sew bags, hydration systems, waterproof storage solutions, and a new whitewater kayaking helmet.
After 2 years of driving projects from behind a desk, the need to make things with his hands again quickly took hold. Greg went to work as a designer and fabricator for Clearscapes, a Raleigh based architecture and art firm. His teams focus was to design and compete for state and city funded public art projects. Working under the firms co-founder, Greg and team produced several works of large scale public art and sculpture that are featured across the continental US.
In 2012, the allure of the west coast brought Greg to San Francisco to join the Product Development team at Incase Designs. As a developer, Greg found he was able to combine his skills as both designer and engineer into one very dynamic role that was instrumental throughout the design process. Greg has launched dozens of products within the hard-goods line at Incase as well has launching its sister brand SYSTM_by Incase. His work has required extensive time on the ground in Asia working directly with his vendor base to ensure intent and meet critical launch deadlines. Most recently, Greg lead the development of Incase's business development team dedicated to fostering new relationships and creating new product opportunities with partners such as Samsung, Google, and Motorola.
